I have been working on Design for the Children, AIA Seattle, somewhat. Our team have been busy with other priorities- which is probably a good thing given the state of our current economy. Below are initial sketches of a prototype for the healthcare center that competition primarily asks for. Challenge is coming up with a form that would allow modular planning using indigenous materials (Rwanda,Uganda). The competition has also asked to show the building in two phases. I will plan to post more drawings throughout the week. It is crunch time and I believe that we can only submit a building at schematic design.

For my first post, I am going to showcase some photos and photo-constructions that I have been working on over the past years. I am going to organize this blog in a chronological format, but in due time I will have an updated resume and work portfolio link located on the right for all to download and view Enjoy the photos and feel free to comment. Also, I will do my best to refrain from using ever again: "For my () post..."
